My very first day in my very first recruitment job I was late....

I hit bad traffic and wanted to turn the car around, go home and hang my head in shame. I was going to make a terrible first impression. But I fought against my natural instinct to flee and I carried on driving. I didn't realise it at the time but this decision defined my career in recruitment.

I am proud of the choice I made. When it would have been much easier to turn back I faced forward. There have been many times since that I could have taken the easy route and I chose not to which has made me the recruiter I am today.

During the next 12 years I became a reliable trustworthy and ethical consultant, In 2020 I found myself facing redundancy and again made a brave decision to move forward rather than backwards and co-founded my own recruitment business with my partner. I am extremely grateful & proud to start our business, recruiting, authentically, agile and OUR WAY!
